PepsiCo, Purchase, NY, has unveiled a new corporate structure designed to take advantage of scale and efficiencies it hopes to reap from its acquisition of Quaker Oats, Chicago, IL. Under the new organization, the Tropicana business will be brought under the Quaker umbrella, although the company will remain headquartered in Bradenton, FL. The business will now be overseen by Quaker CEO Bob Morrison. PepsiCo will also form a new unit called PepsiCo Beverages Inernational, which will fold Pepsi’s three international beverage units into one.
